Slug control is best done with nemotodes. Once you’ve tried them you’ll not want to be without them.

I’ve always found the slugs like young hostas so it’s worth either putting pellets down too or getting some nemaslug

The nemaslug product just waters in and allows all your plants to get a really good start without any slugs eating them! Well worth the money if you love your garden.

I’d keep them in the greenhouse though and heat it when it’s going to be cold at night – at least until the risk of frost has gone. That’s nearly June here!

You could sow your own seeds and pot them on but this saves you the time. Great if you’d rather be doing other things!
