This unique push / pull diamond hoe features 4 very sharp forged edges and a slanted P-grip design handle for optimal pushing and pulling while cutting weeds just below the soil surface. We’d better get some more else we’ll be fighting over it!
Lovely and sunny this morning and I cadged some poppy plants off another allotment holder! I only asked if I could have some seeds when they were ready, but he was happy to let me have a few of the self-seeded poppy plants.
I asked him if they were indeed carrots growing in the pots around the site and he said yes. He laughed at it as people reckon they don’t get carrot fly when the carrots are so much higher off the ground. He’s given up on them as they just get munched by the carrot flies and they’re never very dear at the shops!
