Free adult cycle lessons are available. If you’re not confident on your bike on the road then this is for you. It’s for Adults (16+) who live or work in Greater Manchester. Well worth a look. I used to cycle to my old allotment but used as few roads as possible! I used to use the canal towpath and the cycle paths where possible.

Huntingdonshire District Council is holding a compost giveaway – On Tuesday 7 May, from 10am until 2pm, join the Environment Team in Riverside Car Park, Huntingdon, and on Thursday 9 May from 10am until 2pm find them in Riverside Car Park, St Neots.

Household Waste Recycling Centre site at Wiggenhall Road (WD18 0FB, next to the council’s Wiggenhall Depot) between 4pm and 7pm on Wednesday 8 May 2013, to pick some bags of high quality compost (two per household). This is made from the green waste we collect every fortnight via your kerbside recycling scheme.
