Loncin LC2000i Inverter Generator

Loncin LC2000i Inverter Generator was £549.00 now £499.00
They say the best things come in small packages, and this lightweight, powerful and reliable Loncin LC200i Inverter Generator is a good example. Loncin are an exciting Chinese engine manufacturer whose aim is to lower carbon emissions while using the latest technology to develop a range of highly economical and reliable products. This suitcase-style generator with its minimal footprint is ideal for providing cheap, consistent electricity for leisure use and as a back-up for use at home, providing safe ‘spike’ free power, ideal for sensitive equipment like laptops, games consoles and televisions susceptible to power variations. * The inverter is a lightweight microprocessor that replaces the traditional heavy alternator and thanks to the carefully developed inverter technology, the voltage output is isolated from the engine speed, maintaining a smooth and consistent output of power, with no fluctuations. Power cuts can and do happen and if you work from home, perhaps in a rural area this generator can offer peace of mind – enabling you to pick up and send e-mails and keep working. * Or perhaps you want to use your laptop or watch TV while camping or on a caravanning holiday. This generator is a great, cost effective power source for those times when you are away from the power grid. * It has a fuel capacity of 4.2 litres, and will produce 1.6kw (120/240V) of continuous power and reduces fuel consumption by up to 25%, making it an economical, as well as a reliable, option. Low in carbon emissions the Loncin 2000i Inverter really is a generator for the modern age, with a powerful 79cc, 148F single-cylinder, 4-stroke OHV engine. It has an eco throttle, varying the engine speed to suit the applied load, helping keep the noise down in low loads In fact, this model is remarkably quiet, at 61 dB (A) compared with many similar specified models. We can vouch for this having seen and heard it in action. It has an easy and reliable and a generous running time of around seven hours on a full tank, enough to do some uninterrupted work on your computer and still have time to watch a DVD. A carrying handle makes it easy to transport and with dimensions of just 49.9cm in length, by 28.5cm width with a height of 45.5cm, it will store comfortably in most caravans, camper vans or even the boot of the car. Low in vibration, it has an eco throttle and a DC output included for battery charging, making it a very versatile unit. NB: It is important to check the wattage requirements of the equipment you intend to power so you can buy the right generator. For your information a general laptop requirement would be under perhaps 50-70 and a modern flat-screen TV (32

Agri-Fab Smart-Sweep 44

Agri-Fab Smart-Sweep 44\” Towed Lawn & Leaf Sweeper (45-0492) £329.00
Comprehensive consumer research by Agri-Fab highlighted a key flaw in many wheeled leaf-sweepers – that of ‘skipping’; whereby the brush occasionally jumps over debris, leaving it uncollected. With this high-specification model, Agri-Fab have remedied the problem, so a first-time clean-sweep with no need for a second run is assured. Thanks to it expansive 111.5cm sweep-width, the Agri-Fab 45-0492 offers a huge 24% increase in productivity when set against the smaller 96.5cm model. Its high-torque gearing; high-traction wheels; and heavy-duty brush combine to ensure a comprehensive pick-up; while its adjustable sweep-height provides the flexibility you’ll need to operate successfully. The Agri-Fab Smart-Sweep 44\” Towed Lawn & Leaf Sweeper is supplied with a positively cavernous 710-litre, so huge amounts of debris can be packed between emptying-stops (debris can be dumped from the driver’s seat, using a handily placed lever). Equipped with a universal hitch-pin, this model is suitable for use with all makes of garden tractor.

Tulipa 'Antoinette' (PBR) (Single late tulip bulbs)

Tulipa ‘Antoinette’ (PBR) (Single late tulip bulbs) was £1.99 now £1.49
Position: full sun Soil: fertile, well-drained soil Rate of growth: average Flowering period: April to May Flower colour: multicoloured Hardiness: fully hardy Bulb size: 10/11 The flowers of this unique tulip will change colour (quite dramatically) as they age. Initially glowing golden yellow, you will start to see hints of blush pink towards the petals edges before they turn a richer shade of salmon pink. When grown in a large cluster, it would not be unusual to have flowers in varying degrees of transformation, so the overall effect is a soft and fuzzy raspberry cream. Delicious! Garden care: In September to December plant bulbs 15-20cm deep and 10-15cm apart in fertile, well-drained soil. Alternatively, allow 7-9 bulbs per 30cm sq. After flowering dead-head and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser each week for the first month. Once the foliage has died down naturally lift the bulbs and store in a cool greenhouse.
