Lathyrus odoratus 'Restormel' (spencer sweet pea seed Restormel)

Lathyrus odoratus ‘Restormel’ (spencer sweet pea seed Restormel) was £0.99 now £0.79
Position: full sun Soil: fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil Rate of growth: average to fast-growing Flowering period: June to September Flower colour: orange-red Other features: well scented flowers Hardiness: hardy annual The petals of this gorgeous sweet pea are a vibrant orange-red, but they have a rich scarlet picotee edge. These exhibition quality blooms are well scented and add striking colour to both the garden borders or cut flower arrangements. Plant them in a sunny spot and dead-head regularly to extend the flowering period even further. Garden care: From October to late February, sow seeds into deep pots or root trainers filled with a good-quality seed compost and place them in a cold frame. Pinch out the tips as the plants grow to encourage them to become bushier and produce more flowers, and harden off before planting out in early April. Direct sowings can also be made in October or March-April. It is important to remove the faded flowers before they set seed, so picking them to fill a vase inside will only encourage more to form. Sow: October-April Flowering: June-September Approximate quantity: 20 seeds.

BananaGuard

BananaGuard was £5.45 now £4.99
Make bruised and battered bananas a thing of the past with the ingenious BananaGuard, designed by Canadian Emergency Room doctor David Algunik. The distress caused by the mashed mess his bananas turned into on his way to work led him to think that there must be a better mode of banana transportation Made from lightweight plastic, it will fit just about any size or shape of banana. Just pop it in, snap the BananaGuard shut and toss it (as carelessly as you like) into your lunchbox, bag or backpack. Even on a crowded tube your banana won’t get squashed Ventilation holes on the sides of the BananaGuard keep the contents fresh and deter premature ripening until you’re ready for your fruit fix. The indispensable Bananaguard is also dishwasher safe and comes, appropriately enough, in bright banana yellow
