kids-purple-nitrile-glove
kids-purple-nitrile-glove was £6.99 now £4.99
Proper gardening gloves now in kids size Space-age gloves fit like a second skin, wear like leather. A great, all-round glove that is light enough to allow you to feel the things you are working on, but is tough enough to offer good protection for your hands. It is made of stretchy, seamless nylon and has a deep, elasticated cuff. The durable, nitrile coating on the palm and around the fingertips will resist abrasion and tearing and gives the gloves an excellent wet or dry grip. They are flexible and therefore very comfortable to wear, and when they get dirty you just just pop them in the washing machine.

coral bells
coral bells was £7.49 now £6.99
Position: full sun or partial shadeSoil: fertile, moist or well-drained soilRate of growth: averageFlowering period: June to AugustHardiness: fully hardyAiry sprays of tiny, white, bell shaped summer flowers appear on wiry stems above neat mounds of large, ruffled, chocolate brown and burgundy leaves. Like most heuchera, this one is grown mainly for its distinctive foliage, and it looks particularly effective planted in large drifts. It is semi-evergreen and makes an eyecatching front-of-border plant. Garden care: Heucheras do not like dry soil. Remove tatty foliage in autumn. Lift and divide clumps every couple of years in early autumn and replant with the crown just above the surface of the soil. Apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted organic matter round the crown of the plant in spring.

Position: sun to part shade Soil: moist, well-drained soilRate of growth: average-fastFlowering period: May-JuneHardiness: tenderA rare, vigorous twining climber or open shrub that is a native of South Africa. It has dark, waxy leaves which really make the white, star-like flowers shine out. In spring and summer, pink buds open to reveal flattened white flowers, with more petals than commoner jasmines, and with a delicious scent – which is at its strongest at night. A great choice for covering the wall of an unheated conservatory.Garden care: Grow in a pot on a sunny patio with shade from midday sun during the summer and move to a protected spot with a minimum temperature of 10C during the winter. Feed every two weeks during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Prune to fit the growing frame in late winter or early spring.
