COOKING HINTS: Delicious freshly grated, home-made horseradish sauce is the perfect accompaniment to roast beef! Plant the ‘thongs’ in 15cm (6″) holes made with a dibber, approximately 45cm (18″) apart, in a moist, sunny spot. To keep plants compact, restrict their root run or lift and store roots in sand each autumn. February/March
