The large black cherries produced by Organic Sunburst Cherry Trees look almost too good to be true – but the truth is they taste just as attractive as they look; sweet juicy and full of flavour with just a hint of raspberry.The good news continues as Sunburst is a cherry variety capable of flourishing across most of the UK but as with most cherry trees it will reward you if planted in a sunny aspect. Supplied as a bare rooted maiden tree our Sunburst cherry trees are grown on Gisela 5 semi dwarfing rootstocks and make an excellent fan trained cherry or an equally productive – and manageable – bush tree. Self fertile Sunburst cherries are picked from late July but don’t forget to the developing fruit to keep off the birds – they’ve got the same fine sense of taste as us!Organic Sunburst Cherry Trees are despatched in bare-root form between November and March. Due to overwhelming demand we’ve sold right out of this variety of fruit tree but we are still taking forward orders which we will be despatching from mid November.

Organic Stella cherry trees are self fertile and will flourish in a sunny location and as these bare-rooted maiden trees are grown on the semi dwarfing Gisela 5 rootstock they’ll produce more than manageable bush trees and are ready-made for fan training along a south facing wall or fence. You can expect to pick the delicious dark red cherries in late July and don’t forget to prune the trees shortly afterwards to avoid the unwanted spread of the silverleaf disease. your organic Stella cherries will protect the fruits from birds meaning more of these garden gastronomic treats for you and your kitchen! Marjories Seedling is a name you probably recognise even if you know nothing about plums and this exceptionally popular culinary plum variety is the late harvesting choice of the UK’s commercial plum growers – and with one of our Organic Marjories Seedling Plum Trees growing happily in your back garden you too could enjoy the sweet yellow fleshed fruits of this heavy cropper.Our Organic Marjories Seedling plum trees are grown on St Julien A rootstocks and are moderately vigorous in habit making them ideal for growing as a bush tree or fan training along a sunny wall or fence – and as the plum trees are supplied as maidens initial pruning and training is a simple task. Expect to harvest Majories Seedling plums from mid September and being so late flowering and ripening they’re ideal for growing in cooler or frost affected areas. The plums are deep purple in colour with a distinctive blue sheen and can be eaten if left to ripen as well as used for cooking. Organic Czar Plum Trees got their distinctive name thanks to a visit by Russian Tsar Alexander II who had visited England in May of 1874 while the first crop was beginning to grow – and ever since plum growers both commercial and amateur have raved about the jam and preserve making qualities of this very popular early culinary plum variety.Grown on the moderately vigorous St Julien A rootstock our Organic Czar Plum Trees are supplied as maidens which makes training them as spectacular fan trees along a warm south facing wall an easy job. Czar plum trees will also flourish in bush tree form too and produce heavy crops of the renowned dark purple skinned fruits – which can be eaten straight from the tree when ripe as well as making it into the kitchen – which are ready to pick in late July and August. The Czar plum variety also has some frost resistance and is self fertile adding to the attraction! Organic Czar Plum Trees are despatched in bare-root form between November and March.

The fruit from these Organic Louise Bonne of Jersey Dessert Pear Tree combines all the characteristics you’d expect from a pear – sweet juicy and melting flesh – with a most attractive deep red flush over the whole fruit; and add in the facts that Louise Bonne of Jersey is a heavy cropper and an ideal variety for garden growing and you’ll find it hard to ignore!The Organic Louise Bonne of Jersey Pear Trees we supply are grown on moderately vigorous Quince A rootstocks making this popular dessert pear variety perfect for espalier and cordon training along with growing in bush tree form. The medium sized fruits produced by Organic Louise Bonne of Jersey Dessert Pear Trees should be ready to pick from mid September and under the correct conditions – a cool dark frost free location with ventilation and humidity – should store into October. Organic Concorde Pear Trees -

These Organic Concorde Pear Trees are a cross between renowned pear varieties Conference and Doyenne du Comice – and the result is a heavy fruiting variety with sweet juicy melt-in-the-mouth flesh the perfect pear for growing in the garden. The compact nature of Conference pear trees coupled with the semi-dwarfing Quince C rootstock our Organic Concorde Pear Trees are grown on means these pear trees are ideal for training in cordon form but as the organic trees are supplied as maidens growing as espaliers or in bush tree form is just as easy. Expect to pick medium sized yellow pears with some slight russetting from late September onwards from your Organic Concorde Pear Trees but as with all pears it’s best to pick the fruits while still green and allow to ripen indoors. Under the correct conditions Concorde Pears will store up to November. Organic Concorde Pear Trees are despatched in bare-root form between November and March. Organic Beurre Hardy Dessert Pear Trees originate from France and carry the Beurre prefix (meaning butter) and although not all continental pear varieties grow well in the UK you can expect plenty of medium to large fruits from this popular pear variety. Supplied in a bare rooted maiden form our Organic Beurre Hardy Dessert Pear Trees are ideal for training as espaliers or cordons and you can choose from Quince A rootstock trees (moderately vigorous growth) or the slightly smaller Quince C rootstock grown trees to suit your garden and the space you have available. The pears from Organic Beurre Hardy Dessert Pear Trees are usually harvested from mid September and will store until October; but these very juicy well flavoured and russet brown/faint red fruits might not make it that long before you tuck in!Organic Beurre Hardy Dessert Pear Trees are despatched in bare-root form between November and March.
