Growing Spring onions
Also known as salad onions.
If you sow from March to July then they’re ready for pulling from June to October.
Sown in August you will get a crop March to May.
Follow the instructions on the packet for spacing. Although some people just sprinkle the seeds in a tray and firm down and cover with compost. Sow a tray every other week throughout the sowing season and then you’ll harvest a few each week.

Can grow in trays or even gutters and then plant out as they get bigger.
