Parsnip seeds

Thompson & Morgan have these seeds.
Don’t plant them in recently manured soil as they don’t like it.
I’ve read about starting them off in toilet roll tubes so am going to give this a go. You then plant out the whole thing!

Long, smooth, white-skinned, tapering roots of uniform size with a delicious sweet flavour and good texture. Good canker resistance, especially from later sowings. Lifted roots store well for winter use.

Parsnip Panache is very vigorous, uniform, smooth white-skinned roots and a creamy flesh with sweet flavour. Producing large wedge/bayonet shaped roots with shallow crowns. Parsnip Panache has good canker resistance.

Parsnip Countess was specially bred for smooth, white skinned and fleshed roots which retain their colour after washing.
