Cameras in nest boxes

It’s this time of year you should be thinking about putting bird boxes up. It gives the birds the chance to explore them in winter before moving in during the spring.
Whilst these camera nest boxes aren’t cheap they will enable you to watch the birds progress as they make a nest, lay eggs and the eggs hatch. It’ll be amazing.

Where to put the box? Well out of any cats way – no where where ledges can lead easily to the box. Normally at least 6 foot up and facing away from the worst of the weather, the midday sun and the prevailing wind direction (often westerly in this country)
