Potato Colleen Organic (taster pack) £2.45
Colleen seed potatoes are very high yielding. They have a great uniform tuber shape making them ideal boiled potatoes. Good disease resistance. Colleen is a great potato to use: as a boiled potato as chips Uniform tuber shape Good disease resistance Very high yielding To sprout seed potatoes, place in a light, cool area. Protect from frost. Planting can take place as soon as the risk of frost has passed in your area, during spring, March-May. Plant 10-13cm (4-5inches) deep in shallow ridges. Seed should be 20-23cm (8-9inches) apart in the row, with 60cm (24inches) between each row. Earth the plants up when they are 20cm (8inches) tall. This encourages a higher yield of potatoes. Watering your plants well will improve crop yield and discourage scab from forming. Harvest June – July Contains 10 tubers Our whole range of seed potatoes are Certified Scottish seed potatoes.
