This newly-developed petrol chainsaw from Mitox offers a range of high-spec features, but comes-in at a very attractive price-point. Thanks to its high-performance 3.0kW (62cc) engine and longer 60cm guide-bar, it will excel at tough, large-scale chainsaw applications. The engine itself is fitted with a premium-quality Walbro carburettor that provides the sort of dependability and combustion efficiency you just won’t get with a lower-spec saw. A decompression-valve makes starting smooth and hassle-free. Thanks to its superior cutting-gear from renowned American manufacturers Oregon, the Mitox CS64 Petrol Chainsaw offers exceptional cutting-performance. It features an automatic chain-oiler, so wear-and-tear on both the bar and chain is minimised. The rate-of-flow from the oil-reservoir to the guide-bar is controlled by a top-mounted adjuster, so it’s quick and easy to make changes in the field. Unlike many similarly-powered chainsaws, the Mitox CS64 is lightweight and easy to handle; and with its full anti-vibration system, you’ll find it puts very little strain on your hands and arms. Large-capacity fuel- and oil-tanks allow you to work for longer between each stop; and a safety-enhancing quick-stop chain-brake brings the chain to an almost instantaneous halt in the unlikely event of ‘kick back’.
