This collection contains: Atropurpureum, Sphaerocephalon, Christophii and Early Emperor. These are all premium varieties made available in a brilliant, great value pack. Allium prefer to be grown in full sun or light shade. They are adaptable to all well-drained soils. Allium bulbs are hardy in all areas but protection during winter is recommended. Use a cover of straw or other orgaic material. Late planting in autumn prevents bulbs from making early shoots which can easily be damaged by frost.

Tulip Ice Cream (5 bulbs)

One of the most unusual tulips we’ve seen. Tulip Ice Cream bulbs produce truley stunning flowers, pink with a white top! Growing to only 25cm in height these really different tulips flower in April and through May. Tulips will grow in a wide range of soils provided there is good drainage. They like sunshine but the flowers will last longer in partial shade. Ideal for beds and borders, remove flower heads as they begin to fade. Avoid planting tulips repeatedly in exactly the same spot that they have been grown in in recent years. Tulips are best lifted when the leaves fade. Clean and store until the Autumn, when they can be replanted. Do not keep the small off-shoots as they will not flower. Display in groups, great for underplanting roses or growing through muscari.

These mixed daffodil bulbs flower from March through April and contain a superb selection of different daffodils to add some cheerful spring colour to any garden display. Daffodil bulbs be planted in most positions in your garden from July to December. Plant in a free draining soil approximately 10cm deep and at least 5cm apart, but no more than 10cm. These daffodil bulbs are idea to naturalise on banks, in lawns, under shrubs or in rose beds.

Holder of the RHS award of garden merit Sun Disc is a very round petalled narcissus with a scented, orange centre. Growing to only 20cm tall, Sun Disc narcissi flower in April. Daffodils and narcissi like well-drained but moist, humus rich soil in sun or partial shade. Avoid very dry areas such as under conifers. Plant them informally in groups; ideal for rock gardens, containers and terraces. They can be left undistubed for years although should they become too overcrowded, once the leaves have withered lift the bulbs, separate and replant immediately. Great for naturalising in woodlands or lawns.

Iris Dwarf Pauline (15 bulbs)

These short (dwarf) flowering Iris bulbs only grow to 15cm in height. Flowering Feb/March Pauline Iris produce unusual purple flowers and work well at the front of borders. Iris like full sun or partial shade and an open soil with plenty of humus and good drainage. They naturalise well in rockeries edges of borders and containers. Remove faded flowers and aplly fertiliser four/five weeks after flowering. When clumps become too crowded lift divide and replant about 2 weeks after flowering. Why not plant a winter corner near the house along with anemone de caen and galanthus nivalis (snowdrops).
