Camassia cusickii (Cusick's camass)

Camassia cusickii (Cusick’s camass) £5.99
Position: full sun or partial shade Soil: moist but well-drained, fertile, humus-rich, soil Rate of growth: average Flowering period: May Hardiness: frost hardy (may need winter protection) This is an elegant perennial that looks amazing when planted in bold drifts. It grows from a bulb and has an upright habit, with strappy foliage that can grow to 80cm long. The star-like flowers (the colour varies in intensity, but it is always blue) form on an upright spike, so the effect is quite striking – and they can be cut for the vase. Happiest in reliably moist (but not waterlogged) soil, it will also tolerate a little light shade. Garden care: Try to plant them where they will remain undisturbed for several years as they resent being moved. In cold areas, apply a generous layer of mulch in autumn.

Lavandula angustifolia Platinum Blonde ('Momparler') (PBR) (lavender)

Lavandula angustifolia Platinum Blonde (‘Momparler’) (PBR) (lavender) £3.99

Carefully trim back in April, taking care not to cut into old wood.
