Evergreen complete 4 in 1 £12.99
Evergreen complete 4 in 1 will help you produce a more beautiful lawn after just one simple application. The unique four in one formula feeds and greens your grass, kills the weeds and moss and also helps your lawn make the most of every drop of water that falls. It is also quick and easy to apply through the built in hand held spreader, just walk up and down the lawn spreading as required. In just one week, your grass will become greener, the moss will turn brown before dying off and within a few weeks broadleaved weeds such as white clover, daisies and dandelions will twist and turn until they fade away. The long lasting nutrients in this feed will continue to feed the grass so that it becomes thicker and greener over the next six weeks. This weedol gun rootkill plus kills weeds right down to the roots so that even the most stubborn perennial weeds won’t come back. Based on a formulation of glyphosate plus Pyraflufen Ethyl, this unique formula not only delivers the fast acting, visible results that Weedol is famous for, but also systemically kills roots so those weeds don’t come back again. Recommended for use on perennial broad-leaved weeds and grasses such as docks, stinging nettles, thistles, couch grass, dandelions and creeping buttercups. This pre-diluted, ready to use formulation is approved for use all around the garden, including surfaces such as paths and drives. For best results spray the weeds with fine droplets to cover the whole weed foliage without drifting on to other plants. Weedol rootkill plus also degrades in the soil to allow re-planting and children and pets to play on the treated area once dried. Supplied in a 1 litre pack which will cover 29 square meters.

Pineberry 'White Dream' (pineberry White Dream)

Pineberry ‘White Dream’ (pineberry White Dream) £3.79
Position: full sun Soil: any soil Rate of growth: fast-growing Other features: tasty white fruit Hardiness: fully hardy During the last summer, a well-known supermarket was selling these delicious and unusual fruits for around 25-30p per berry – and they were still in big demand! Now that the plants are available (they have only recently been released onto the market) you can grow your own. The juicy and sweet fruits are a taste sensation – just like strawberries but with the flavour of pineapple. It is the result of a cross between two different strawberry plants, one from South America and the other from North America. It flowers in May, and then the fruits appear, green at first but then ripening to white with deep red seeds. Ready to harvest in June, the fruits are rarely eaten by the birds as they do not think they look ripe, so you usually will not need to net them. Garden care: It prefers a sunny spot. In winter, protect the crowns with straw or glass.
