The wild form of this tulip is found growing naturally on the slopes in the Tien Shen mountains of Central Asia. This variety was introduced in 2002, and boasts pretty white petals stained yellow at the base and crimson on the outside. Flowers March-April. Height 21-30cm. Bulb size 12cm+. (Bulb sizes quoted in centimetres refer to the circumference of bulbs. All bulbs are sourced from cultivated stocks.)
