BiOrb HALO 30 LED Moonlight White

BiOrb HALO 30 LED Moonlight White £149.99
The biOrb HALO 30 has two versions of LED lighting. A standard version has a biOrb LED light above the bubble tube. The halo version is fitted inside the lid as a ring of LED lights to give the contents of the aquarium a real 3D appearance. At night the halo version automatically switches to the calm moonlight setting.

A light sensor allows you to set the exact lighting conditions for the automatic switching to moonlight.

Controls that are a joy to use

The lid closes reassuringly with a magnetic catch and the airline is subtly hidden away in one of the feet at the back of the tank.

biOrb HALO uses the same proven filter as the rest of the biOrb range.

To maintain your biOrb HALO 30 all you do is simply replace the filter cartridge every four weeks and change a third of the water.

For safety and peace of mind, the lights and pump are low voltage and are backed by a 12 month guarantee. The aquarium itself is made from acrylic, which is ten times stronger than glass.

You can enjoy all the technology of an advanced aquarium set up, supplied in one box. The biOrb HALO 30 is the perfect aquarium for anyone new to fish keeping.

BiOrb Ceramic Media

BiOrb Ceramic Media £9.99
Beneficial bacteria colonise the ceramic media and remove toxic fish waste from the water as the water flows through it. biOrb ceramic media is full of pores for bacteria to live on, just 900g of ceramic media has the surface area equivalent to a football pitch.

You can add more media to your biOrb to increase the area for filtration.

Over time, these pores can become blocked with dirt and limescale reducing the surface area available. Replacing some of the media every year or so can help to keep the filtration efficient.

Never replace more than 1/3rd of your media at one time and wait at least a month before replacing any more.

BiOrb First Aid Kit

BiOrb First Aid Kit £9.99
To treat fish for illness usually involves working out dilution rates, carefully measuring out liquids and removing any chemical parts your filtration system. With this Kit you can simply replace the existing filter cartridge for the First Aid Cartridge and add the treatment sachets on the days instructed.

Poorly fish often means that the water is unhealthy, this is almost always caused by overloading the filter – feeding the fish too much or introducing fish too quickly are the most common causes. The best way to keep the water and your fish healthy is to minimise feeding and carry out regular maintenance.

Fish almost always eat far more than they need so it is very easy to overfeed them.

This is a treatment cartridge, it is not meant to be used long term, it will not work as a filter and will not prevent your fish from becoming ill. Only ever use treatments if your fish are ill.

BiOrb Green Water Clarifier

BiOrb Green Water Clarifier £9.99
Along with the sachets of treatment supplied it will remove the algae which causes green water. Follow the simple step by step instructions supplied to remove the algae and clear your biOrb water.

This is a treatment cartridge, it does not prevent green water. The best way to prevent green water is to minimise feeding and carry out regular maintenance.

BiOrb Air Pump

BiOrb Air Pump £9.99
You may notice that the pump becomes noisier or the bubbles less vigorous. At which point it may be time to replace your air pump.

Replacing the air pump is simply a case of unplugging the old one and plugging in the new. Simple instructions are supplied.

If your air pump stops working replace it as soon as you can to minimise interruption to the filtration. It is advisable to keep a spare air pump so that if it fails you can replace it straight away.

If the bubbles have stopped it may not be the air pump, check our help pages for more information.

Suitable for all sizes of biOrb & biUbe aquariums.
