Griselina 25 60/90

Griselina 25 60/90 £76.99
One of the most popular evergreen hedging options in the UK, Griselinia has apple green foliage and offers year round coverage. It is ideal for hedges around 1-2metres tall. Supplied as 60cm+ bare roots and grow 20-40cm per year. Bare Root hedging plants are a great, cost-effective way for you to achieve your hedging goals. They are grown in an open environment, exposed to natural conditions, which allows these plants to develop with no restrictions. When opting for this root type, you will receive well established plants with sturdy root systems as a result of their growing method. Given the way in which they are grown, bare rooted plants are available from November until May as this is the time of year when the plants are dormant and can be safely lifted from the field. This category mostly consists of native, deciduous hedging species which many of them flower and/or berry so they make great hedges for wildlife and provide seasonal interest.

Phyllostachis Nigra 20 10ltr 120-150cm

Phyllostachis Nigra 20 10ltr 120-150cm £759.99
Bamboo is ideal for a more exotic evergreen hedge. It is fast growing but as such it has a strong root system and needs lots of space to grow at its best. Its spread can be managed by cutting back the canes as they sprout from the ground. Black bamboo can be planted either on its own or as a mixed colour hedge with gold and green bamboos to create further colour. Plants supplied are 120cm+ high and grow 40-70cm per year.

Photinia x Fraseri Red Robin 20 2ltr 20-40cm

Photinia x Fraseri Red Robin 20 2ltr 20-40cm £119.99
This delicate evergreen adds a splash of colour through your hedge. As its new leaves come through they provide a stunning red effect before mellowing to a green, whilst retaining a red tinge in parts throughout the plant. The cream coloured flowers on Photinia Red Robin provide further interest in the spring months, attracting insects to the garden. It is not a compact plant and it’s loose leaf structure allows the hedge to float along in the breeze. Plants supplied 20cm+ high and grow 20-40cm per year.

Thuja Plicata 10 5ltr 60-90cm

Thuja Plicata 10 5ltr 60-90cm £142.99
Western Red Cedar is a great option for a fast-growing evergreen hedge if you are looking for conifer coverage but want to avoid Leylandii. It has citrus smelling leaves and the small cones that appear on the branches add delicate detail. It will grow in most environments so long as the soil is well-draining. Plants supplied 60cm+ high and grow 30-60cm per year.

Cornus Alba Sibrica 25 60/90

Cornus Alba Sibrica 25 60/90 £44.99
Cornus Alba Sibirica is a vivid red member of the dogwood family. It is a deciduous hedging plant with vibrant red stems once its leaves have fallen in the autumn. Birds love this variety of dogwood as it produces blue berries in the autumn after its white spring flowering. It looks great either as a block colour hedge or when interspersed with other varieties of dogwood.Wildlife FriendlyBright red stemsBare Root hedging plants are a great, cost-effective way for you to achieve your hedging goals. Laurus Nobilis 10 5ltr

Laurus Nobilis 10 5ltr £166.99
With its fragrant leaves, that can be used for cooking with, bay laurel is a lovely option for a slow growing, dense evergreen hedge. It can be trimmed quite neatly versus the other laurel hedges and is easier to maintain. In addition it has beautiful yellow flowers which come through over the spring months to attract the bees and butterflies. Plants supplied 60cm+ high and grow 10-20cm per year.

Cupressocyparis Leylandii 20 120/150

Cupressocyparis Leylandii 20 120/150 £529.99
A fast growing coniferous evergreen, Leylandii is a very popular choice for those wanting a tall hedge, at a reasonable price, without too much of a wait to get there. Leylandii hedges provide great screening, in addition to reducing the impact of noise and pollution. As a fully grown hedge they can be left shaggy or trimmed up tightly depending on the aesthetic appearance required. Plants supplied 120cm+ and grow 40-70cm per year.
