Sarcocca Plant – Winter Gem £9.99
A new variety of this amazingly fragrant genus bred by the highly acclaimed British breeder Peter Moore. Combining the best qualities from both its parents, ‘Winter Gem’ produces larger than average dark, glossy, green leaves that emerge from the purple stems which during winter also hold a mass of the very attractive and highly fragrant flowers which fill the surrounding air with perfume. These are followed by glossy red berries which ripen to black over time. Flowers late December-early March. Height 100-150cm.
Leontopodium Plant – Blossom of Snow £9.99
A new form of one of the favourite alpines. This newly introduced form grows larger allowing it to fit into a mixed or perennial border and produces larger and more showy flowers in abundance above the low clump forming, silvery foliage. The intricate detail of the flower is truly amazing. Flowers July-September. Height 11-20cm. Supplied in a 9cm pot.
