Abelia Collection – 2 abelia plants in 8cm pots – 1 of each variety £19.99
This collection of two superb abelia varieties is sure to please!With a compact, arching habit and long flowering period, Abelia x grandiflora ‘Sunny Charms’ makes a fine addition to sunny borders. Masses of creamy-yellow trumpet shaped blooms with a delicate pink blush are borne at the stems tips, with a sweet honey perfume. From July right through to October, the nectar rich flowers of this hardy shrub attract bees and pollinating insects to the garden. This unusual colour form of Glossy Abelia is ideal for mixed borders or creating an informal low hedge. Height: 120cm (4’). Spread: 1m (3’).‘Pink Pong’ is a fully evergreen variety, which is unusual for many Abelia plants. This hardy shrub will delight you all year with its strong performance, producing large, tubular flowers that carry a honey fragrance for nearly six months of the year. And when the flowers fade away, the copper/purple bases show through to extend the colour into the autumn and winter months. A great specimen for any part of the garden. Height: 150cm (59").
