Three lovely shrubs that will provide colour and interest all year round either in the garden or on the patio. The Photinia is a new variety that boasts attractive variegated evergreen foliage that will remain on the plant all year and be further enhanced by the bright pink new foliage in the spring adding an extra level of interest. The Prunus is covered with loads of flowers in spring when little else is flowering and again impresses in the autumn with attractive autumn foliage before the leaves drop to reveal the quirky zig zag shaped growth. Finally, the Skimmia is not only another evergreen but produces the large attractive mounds of buds at the end of each branch during early autumn and they stay until opening into a mass of white flowers in spring providing many months of interest in itself. Three great shrubs which are easy to grow and produce a nice shaped plant providing interest and colour all year.
