These plants will emerge year after year, more beautiful than the year before to provide vibrant colour whether in borders or patio containers. Lupin Plants – Russell Hybrid Mix £10.00
Tall spires of tightly packed flowers rise above clumps of palmate foliage in a magical array of colours. This wonderful mix of the ever popular ‘Russell Hybrids’ is ideal for adding height and structure to the back of perennial borders and woodland edges. A distinctive hardy perennial that remains a cottage garden favourite. Flowers mid April-mid July. Height 80-90cm (32-36). Supplied in 9cm pots.
Lobelia Plants – Queen Victoria £10.00
Turn up the heat in borders with Queen Victoria’s scarlet red flowers, which are set off to perfection against deep bronze foliage. It makes a lovely cut flower too. Flowers July-August. Height 75cm (30). Back of border variety. Supplied in 9cm pots.
Scabious Plants – Mix £10.00
A compact perennial producing a profusion of delightful pin-cushion flowers with frilly edges of the same colour on short stems over a long period. With a little care to remove the older flowers, it will continue to bloom from early summer, all the way through to early autumn. Great for the front of border, rock gardens or mixed containers. Flowers June-October. Height 20-30cm (8-12). Supplied in 9cm pots.
