Daisies – a common weed

Daisy is one of the commonest weeds found in your lawn. They’re quite pretty though and you can make daisy chains with them. They don’t spread wildy so if you’re not bothered by an odd patch of tiny white and yellow flowers, then leave them!
The leaves are small oval shaped and they cluster together. You can easily dig them out if you want – they don’t have deep roots – and fill the hole with soil/grass seed mixture.
Some people love them in the lawn – so don’t be afraid to admit it if you are!
