A stylish deck chair that is exclusive to Crocus. It is made from hardwood derived from managed plantations. Measurements are in seated position:Length: 113cmWidth: 60cmHeight: 77.5cmAll wooden products should be treated to preserve the wood. In extreme weather conditions like a hot summer, the surface of the furniture will rapidly lose moisture causing the surface of the timber to shrink and split – treating with an oil will reduce the chance of this happening. Its reapplication rate is determined by the weather conditions. Cuprinol Hardwood Furniture OilWe all love hardwood, but not if it's at the expense of the windling rainforests. So our product buyers have spent the last few years searching for sources of timber that don't compromise the environment. They've worked closely with organisations, such as Greenpeace, so that you can rest assured that the timber we use comes from sustainable sources. This item comes from managed forests that have been checked and approved by the Tropical Forest Trust (TFT). In fact, we are the only leading online garden furniture supplier that can guarantee all their hardwood furniture is made from timber sourced from forests working with the Tropical Forest Trust (TFT) on a strictly controlled management programme towards independent certification. By liaising closely with Greenpeace, we've been able to produce guidelines which allow us to offer this unique environmental guarantee on all our hardwood products. As Nathan Argent (Ancient Forest Campaigner at Greenpeace) explained, 'We are pleased that Crocus.co.uk have taken such decisive steps to tackle this issue and removed all controversial sources of timber from their supply chain.'
