Slug trap experiment

We got two plastic slug traps that come with little lids to keep the rain off.
We first tried cider as we had some very out of date cider. Not one slug went near it.
We then tried the cheapest beer we could get. (23p a can!) and the slugs love it!
It’s more organic than using slug pellets – although could get dear if the slugs drink too much!
You can use any container for putting beer in as a slug trap but open containers will fill up with rain and this will dilute the beer!
