What are your plug plants? They are small plants that are grown in a plug of soil, they are grown in large trays, they are sent out when they are about 4.8 cm tall. These smaller plug plants need growing on, which requires a cold frame, greenhouse or conservatory. This is ideal if you want to save money and don’t mind putting on plants or looking after them for a few weeks before planting out.
