Courgette seeds at Thompson & Morgan
My biggest hint for growing them is to put them near your water supply! They will want lots of water when they’re growing!
Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or compost to give them a good start and feed weekly with a tomato plant food.
Pick regularly! This is VITAL! Your friends and neighbours will be happy to eat them if you can’t manage them all!
Courgette Parador F1 Hybrid – 1 packet (5 seeds) £2.49
Attractive, shiny, golden yellow, cylindrical courgettes of excellent flavour. Courgette Parador is early maturing and prolific cropping throughout the summer. Adds colour to both the kitchen garden or the mixed flower and vegetable border.
Courgette Parthenocarpic Duo – 2 packets – 1 of each variety (5 per pack) £4.49
GARDENERS’ PRAYERS ANSWERED! Finally T&M has the answer to many gardeners’ prayers – 2 unique courgettes guaranteed to set fruit whatever the weather. Both have a parthenocarpic habit, meaning they have the ability to set fruit without pollination. Therefore adverse weather, poor light levels, or a lack of pollinating insects will not affect their cropping performance. Both can also be grown under glass for extra early crops. Courgette Parthenon F1: Extra early crops of excellent flavoured, dark green, slightly speckled 15cm (6in) glossy, cylindrical fruits in abundance. Courgette Cavili F1 Hybrid: Extra early crops of pale green skinned 15cm (6in) fruits with a creamier flesh texture than usual green courgettes.
