The Vicorians thought that these flowers were so beautiful the used to sit them on stages draped with black fabric and place frames around them to view them without distraction. This new variety has all the old world charm, but slightly larger flowers in shades of dark red, scarlet and near-black, edged with gold and silver ‘lace’. Grown in individual plug cells, each plant measures about 6 – 10 cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). They can be grown on or planted directly into your tubs, baskets or garden.
