Beans are easy to grow and are delicious to eat! Grow dwarf varieties in pots and all the rest in rows up canes in the garden. The better prepared the soil the better – with plenty of well rotted compost dug in. Mulch too once they get going and you’ll find this helps them keep their feet moist which helps the crop. Beans need plenty of water to crop well, but they need bees too, so ensure there’s some pretty flowers in the garden too!
