Aquilegia (Columbine) collection x 6 £14.99
Aquilegias, or Columbines as they are also known, retain a loyal folllowing amongst gardeners, because they are so easy, and just keep on performing year after year. Despite looking delicate, they are tough as old boots, and resistant to weather, many pests, and whatever we throw at them! We have selected 3 of the best Double flowered types for you in this collection, which are very popular forms. In each collection, you will get 2 large plants each of: ‘Nora Barlow’ – a sumptuous red-pink, beautifully double-ruffled, with pale, almost white tips to petals and centre, providing a lovely contrast. ‘Christa Barlow’ – the perfect comlpanion for Nora above, but with gorgeous purple colours, and perhaps less white tipping. ‘Barlow Black’ – the most sumptuous deep burgundy wine purple, almost black in some lights, with contrasting yellow anthers, and so very floriferous too.
