The kit comprises 6 tubers each of Charlotte (salad), Maris Piper (maincrop) and Vivaldi (2nd early), plus 6 tough woven polythene planters to enable you to grow them on the patio. Weigela florida Plant – Pink Poppet £34.99
This dwarf deciduous shrub loves the sun and will easily grow in moist, well-drained soil. Although the plant has beautiful funnel-shaped, light pink flowers it is known to attract humming birds but will not produce any viable seeds. This shrub is not high maintenance and if necessary can be pruned to shape immediately after flowering. Flowering time: May-August. Height 40cm (16); spread 40cm (16). Supplied in a 7.5-10 litre pot.

Weigela florida Plant – Alexandra £34.99
Weigela florida Alexandra is a an easy to grow hardy shrub producing tubular pink flowers from later spring through to early summer. The unusual dark-purple leaves add extra interest as they darken and turn almost black as they mature. Atractive to bees and butterflies and other pollinating insects. Height 200-250cm. Supplied in a 7.5-10 litre pot.

Hydrangea Plant – Pink Hanging Basket £34.99
Delightful mid-pink mophead flowers are produced on this mophead variety meaning large dramatic flower heads made up of many individual flowers. Grown in a basket which contains many plants in order to produce such a stunning display is not only impressive but also quite a unique way to show off this garden favourite. Each basket will be supplied with around 7-8 plants already planted in them and starting to grow. They will mature and make good sized flowering plants this summer. Hanging basket width 25cm.Unlike many other hydrangea plants that you buy early in the season, these plants have been grown in a way that means tiny flower buds will already be present deep in the buds, so as long as they’re looked after properly they will flower this year!

Squash Plants – Kabocha was £6.99 now £0.99
Origin: Japan. You won’t be able to resist a Kabocha squash (Japanese winter pumpkin), not only because of their cute size (immediately you’ll want to make little soup bowls out of their rinds), but also because they are tasty and good for you, rich in beta carotene, with a decent amount of vitamin C and iron to boot. The flesh near the rind is avocado green, giving way to a bright yellow-orange. You could roast them before you scoop out the flesh for a soup or they are delicious stuffed – a multi purpose sweet and savoury squash, and our favourite this year! A similar texture and flavour to a pumpkin and sweet potato combined!
